17 Feb 2021

As part of the Hove Level Crossing Project, survey and geotechnical investigation works will be undertaken on side streets adjacent the rail corridor and Brighton Road commencing Thursday 18 February 2021, until late March 2021.

Hours of work: between 7am and 5pm - Monday to Friday

Location of works:

  • Side streets adjacent the rail corridor, including:
    • Addison Road
    • Railway Terrace / Caroona Avenue
    • Torr Avenue
    • The Crescent
  • Brighton Road (near the Hove level crossing)

Traffic management:

Temporary speed and lane restrictions will apply in the vicinity of the works, with traffic management in place to advise motorists of changed traffic conditions. Please take care when workers are on site, observe speed limits, lanes restrictions and traffic controllers when travelling through the area. Access to properties will be maintained during these works.

Pedestrians and cyclists are advised to take care when travelling through the area. For safety reasons there may be some restricted access. Where required, signage will be in place to direct pedestrians and cyclists to alternative access and/or detours.
